David Morris

I'm a long-time student of the personal journey of faith in the United States, but professionally I'm a publisher at Lake Drive Books, literary agent at Hyponymous Literary, and author. After more than 25 years of publishing, my goal is to remain focused on authors who desire to be creators of hope. I meet authors where they are and help them find their way to take the next best steps.

I have a PhD in psychology and religion from Drew University, and I was the publisher for Zondervan Books, a division of HarperCollins. Before that, I was editorial director for the books division of Guideposts magazine. I've worked on numerous bestsellers and books that drive conversations and help people grow.

Mick Silva

I’m a pastor’s kid from central California, and graduate of Westmont College in Santa Barbara. I started as an assistant editor at a nonprofit in 2000, and some incredible mentors taught me acquisitions. I became an acquiring editor for WaterBrook Press (2005-2010), a freelance editor (2010-2018), and a Senior Editor for Zondervan Books (2018-2021). And now I get to coach new and mid-list authors on becoming more professional, happier humans.
